English republican socialism
Republican Socialism is the idea that the struggle for a democratic republic is the means of bringing about an extension of social or public ownership, social justice and the welfare of the people. Republican Socialism in England has its origins in the struggles of the republican Levellers and Diggers demands for common ownership of the land.
